An emergency in your practice is anything but routine.

As a practice owner, you are responsible for the initial response when someone becomes seriously unwell on your premises. Small teams, infrequent emergencies and limited resources can make a coordinated response difficult. We help you prepare before it happens.

What the training offers

QS-VO 2024

RESEARCH EVIDENCE

Why training in your own practice matters

Rare emergencies require more than individual knowledge: teams also need shared routines that work in their own environment. Research on in situ simulation examines these practical benefits.

in situ simulation — training with your actual team in its own workplace — can support clinical skills, communication and teamwork. It can also reveal latent safety threats, including missing equipment, unclear roles or emergency plans that have not been put into practice. These issues depend on the actual workplace.

That is why we bring the training to your practice, rather than asking your team to travel to an unfamiliar classroom.

Frequently asked questions

What practices ask before booking

How long does emergency training in a medical practice take?
It depends on your team and day-to-day practice, from a short refresher to a full-day workshop. We agree the right scope together in a free initial consultation.
Does the training really take place at our premises?
Yes. We come to your practice and train with your team and equipment. No classroom, no travel and no lecture-based session: you train where an emergency would happen.
Which medical specialties is the training suitable for?
All specialties. Whether you work in general practice, dentistry, specialist care, a group practice or an Austrian primary care unit (PVE), we tailor the scenarios and priorities to the emergencies relevant to your setting.
Is the training eligible for continuing education credits, and is participation documented?
Yes. Med-STA training has Austrian DFP and ÖGKV PFP approval. You receive a certificate of attendance and a record of the training content for your documentation under Austria’s QS-VO 2024.
What does emergency training for our practice cost?
The cost depends on the scope, number of participants and format. After a short, free initial consultation, you receive a specific quotation with no obligation.
How quickly will you respond to an enquiry?
We get back to you within two working days with specific next steps, by telephone or email, whichever you prefer.
