Since July 2025, Med-STA has supported AGN in Styria with association administration, course coordination and livestreaming of continuing education events.
Arbeitsgemeinschaft für Notfallmedizin (AGN) is a non-profit association based in Graz, with decades of experience in continuing education in emergency medicine in Austria.
AGN’s Jour Fixe series offers accessible continuing education in emergency medicine at the seminar centre of University Hospital Graz. Events take place on the second Tuesday of selected months and are livestreamed, with recordings subsequently available free of charge on AGN’s YouTube channel, which has 14,000 subscribers.
Its programme includes courses for Austria’s pre-hospital emergency physician qualification (Notarzt), refresher courses, emergency ultrasound and clinical skills training. Through its “Drück Mich!” initiative, AGN also promotes bystander CPR.
Med-STA handles administrative and technical tasks so that the AGN board can focus on clinical and educational content.
Membership administration, bookkeeping and payment reminders; organising board meetings and the general assembly; supporting Jour Fixe events; managing equipment storage; and liaising with public authorities.
Planning and budgeting, participant and speaker administration, Austrian DFP approval, on-site support, equipment logistics, Moodle administration for the Notarzt course and post-course administration.
Professional 4K streaming of AGN Jour Fixe events and other meetings, with auto-tracking, Sennheiser wireless audio and picture-in-picture. Recordings are edited and uploaded to YouTube.
